Does Oppo know what this wheel goes to?

Kinja'd!!!

It’s a 13 inch with 175 series tires. Im thinking an MG or something?

Next question... does any Oppo want them? They came out of a house that is being cleaned out and readied for sale. They have a big “FREE” sign on them. Im in Northern VA.

Update: I did some google sleuthing and these appear to be American Racing Turbine Wheels made to fit an older Fiat (Spider, X19, 124, etc).

Those really look like later Midget or maybe MG B wheels

Im not sure what they’re from, I bet you’re close with MG, but I know they’d be perfect, if not a little interesting on my civic haha

Any other info you can gather? Offset, bolt pattern?

I’d take them and put them on Craigslist or Facebook. Make an easy 50-100 bucks.

Thats what Im thinking, if another Oppo doesn’t want them . If I sell them I could use that money to buy the replacement Volvo wheels I need (I got a set of C70 wheels but one is bent and the other has a nasty chip in the rim).

Given the offset and tire size, it looks like the kind of cheap aftermarket Pep Boys specials (or on new vehicles  for ADM) put on Hondas and similar econoboxes back in the ‘80s .

Hmm, good call. Theres not much info on the back (manufacturer, casting no., etc.). Just “ Made in USA” and a load rating.  Bolt pattern is 4 on 4".  And the tires are Michellin X-Radials that were made in WEST Germany.  Meaning these tires are similar in age to me!!!

I think most imports at that time had a 4x100mm bolt pattern, but that’s not far off of 4x4”...

They look like Western brand turbine style wheels for an economy or compact sports car fitment.

Western turbine wheels are famous for being used on the Dukes of Hazzard General Lee Charger.

the same, or very similar wheels were used on the A-Team GMC Vandura, and somewhat similar to B uick Grand National.

Many other companies developed radial-spoke turbine-style wheels, and as mentioned, some came as original equipment. Some have slightly different hub treatments, or different numbers of spokes.

The only real way to tell would be to evaluate the casting marks on the back sides of the wheels.

They look like American Racing VN47 “Vector” wheels but redesigned to better suit a high-offset small sportscar wheel instead of a big deep-dish muscle car design.
